| .22 S/L/LR; 95% blue, very good+ bore, very good+ stock, 25'' barrel, Remington 511 Scoremaster bolt action, magazine fed .22 rifle chambered for all three .22 Cartridges; S-L-LR. The 511 was manufactured by Remington from 1939 until 1963 and the top of the receiver is grooved for scope mounts. This piece is equipped with a 25” round barrel incorporating an adjustable V notch rear sight and a Patridge style blade and brass ball front which is dovetailed into the barrel. The barrel is in very good condition. The bore is bright and shiny; completely without a trace of pitting or corrosion. The factory bluing is intact and probably retains 98% original color. The stock is in great shape. The piece comes with a factory original 5 round magazine. All the mechanics operate as they should. The safety engages with very positive detent. Import marked., s/n 40 |
