| 8x58mmRD; 75% blue, fair bore, very good+ stock, 29'' barrel, Remington 1867 rolling block rifle. Barrel shows significant wear, more towards the tip, also has some light scratches, the left side near the receiver is stamped with "11240", the top side is stamped with "C" crown as well as "J.B. GM", the right side is stamped with "19527/95". Receiver is in good condition with some light user wear, the top of the tang is stamped with "Remingtons Ilion N.Y. U.S.A. Pat May 3D Nov 15th, 1864, April 17th 1866". Stock is in very good condition with a few light scratches/impressions, the center of the right side has brass medallion stamped with "27 R B No 683". Forearm has moderate user wear and a few impressions. The metal butt plate, hammer, and breach all having matching numbers "11240"., s/n 112xx |
