| 30 Carbine; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good+ stock, 18'' barrel, Early D series Planfield manufactured M1 Carbine. Investment cast receiver, with the not so popular integral recoil plate. This short lived design, being dropped in the E range after problems with cracked stocks at the end of the plate. Making this a rather scarce variation. Parkerized metal finish. Mounted in an unmarked M2 walnut stock and unmarked 2 rivit walnut handguard. Barrel is unmarked. USGI parts are the trigger, magazine catch and slip safety in the trigger housing, front sight, type 1 band, Inland PU marked 3rd type slide, Underwood round bolt, and HI marked milled adjustable rear sight. Used. Bright bore. Muzzle+.300. Includes one (1) 5-shot magazine., s/n D8xx |
