| 38 Caliber; 50% blue, good bore, very good grips, 6'' barrel, MERWIN & BRAY, NY PLANT'S MFG CO. FRONT LOADING REVOLVER. The cylinder is marked Patented July 1859 & July 21, 1863. The top of the ribbed octagon barrel has a blade front sight and Plants mfg. New Haven Ct., and the rear sight is a pinched groove. The left side of the barrel is marked Merwin & Bray, New York. The bore is in good condition and is bright. The frame -grip frame is brass and has scattered dark spotting. The walnut grips are in very good condition. The S/N is on the bottom of the grip frame.
