| 9mm Luger; 96% blue, very good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish and matching number checkered walnut grips. All matching including both magazines, one marked with the + sign indicating the extra magazine issued with the gun. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Mauser code S/42 and on top of the chamber with the date 1938. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two stick wing eagle/63 proofs and a droop eagle military acceptance mark. Other droop eagle acceptance marks appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. A small stick wing eagle/63 proof is located on the left side of the barrel. The metal finish show light sharp edge and high point holstering wear. The finish on the grip straps has a patina tint with some minor pin prick pitting. The grips show some handling marks and light compression to some of the checkering. Mechanically fine. The bore has shine and sharp rifling, showing some light frost throughout. Rig, includes an original black leather holster and an eagle/655 proofed takedown tool. The holster is in very good original intact condition and marked on the back between the belt loops with an embossed P.08 over an illegible maker marking, over the date 1941 and a WaA668 proof.
