| 9mm Luger; 80% blue, Good bore, excellent grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish with quality reproduction checkered walnut grips. The numberded parts are matching except the un-numbered hold open and magazine. The magazine is a blued sheet steel variation with aluminum bottom serail numbered 4286r/+ with a stick eagle/63 proof. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Mauser code 42 and on top of the chamber with the date 1939. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two eagle/655 proofs and an eagle/swaz military acceptance mark. Other eagle/swaz acceptance marks appear on the right side of the barrel and left side of the breechbolt. Small eagle/655 proof over the left side of the barrel. The metal finish shows wear and areas of thinning, with some pitting on the left side of the barrel, on the sideplate and on the right side of the toggle housing. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing light corrosion throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 88xxy, Catalog Number M-70 |
