| Commercially manufactured for civilian self defense purposed, this small double barreled "deringer" style pistol has a double action only mechanism with folding trigger and push button barrel release. Original blued finish and fine checkered hard rubber grips. Marked on the left side "PERPLEX / D.R.P.a Modell 2". A variety of cartridges could be used in these pistols, tear gas, perfume, blank as well as flare/signal cartridges. Used, the metal finish shows edge wear and areas of thinning, along with some light spotting along a few of the edges. The grips are over all good, the right panel having a small crack on the bottom.
