| 12 Gauge; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in 1919. Blue finish barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chambers with both chokes gauging Full. The barrels appear to have been shortened at the muzzle however the chokes are strong. Stamped on top of the rib "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN, CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL". Features a boxlock action, automatic ejectors, double triggers, Deeley style latch release forearm and a full grip stock with the original hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. LOP is 14.5 inches. The finish on the barrels shows light handling. The frame ahs been polished bright, with some decorative scroll engraving with flying mallards on the left side and standing pheasant on the right side. The wood has scattered minor dings and some light scuffs, the checkering remains well defined. Mechanically fine with tight lockup, the bores are smooth and bright. 3/4 inch sling swivels have been added to the barrels and stock. C&R/FFL, s/n 1864xx |
