| 12 Gauge; excellent bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured in 1902 with blue finish Damascus barrel, casehardened number 2 size frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. Features a boxlock action, extractors, double triggers, latch release forearm with metal tip, and a full grip stock which is a newer fancy walnut replacement fitted with the original grip cap and buttplate. 13.75 inch LOP. Marked on top of the matted barrel rib "PARKER BROS MAKERS, MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL". Both lockplates are engraved "PARKER BROS" over duck and pheasant scenes. The finish on the barrels has turned an even smooth gray patina. The frame shows only traces of case color under the break lever. The original matching numbered forearm has minor dings and the stock has a few minor scuffs. Mechanically fine with tight lockup., s/n 1142xx |
