| A very scarce holster as adopted by the U.S. Navy for the Colt Model 1896-1905 .38 caliber revolvers and issued 1905-1911. Original khaki color cotton web, the flap has the large Eagle/Anchor button on the front and the early type snap. Inside the flap is ink stamped "USMC". All rivits and original stitching is intact. The brass tip has some minor corrosion, there is rust and dirt staining over all, and there is a tiny hole developing just above the button on the flap. The snap functions fine., |
