| Seller notes state that this item is 16th century, though we can not verify this. Constructed of two metal pieces hammered together with simple circle pattern decoration. The piece is pre-filled with priming powder, and has a handmade trigger like mechanism with a flat spring, which when is depressed swings down revealing the small opening for the powder to be releases into the priming pan on a flintlock firearm. The piece measures approximately 2 X 2.5 inches. Good condition, having some light surface rust overall., |
