| 38 S&W; fair bore, good grips, 3.5'' barrel, Manufactured c.1880's. Original factory nickel finish and checkered hard rubber grips. Matching serial numbers. Fixed sights, Folding hammer spur variant. Stamped on top of the barrel with the Merwin & Hulbert New York address and patent dates 1877, 1880, 1882 and 1883. The nickel finish is dulling with scattered light spotting and handling scratches. The bore shows some corrosion throughout. Mechanically complete and functions well. Antique, s/n 72xx |
