| 8.15 X 46; 95% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 29'' barrel, This Pre-World War II Nazi Mauser Target Rifle was manufactured around 1930. The front sight is a standard blade, and the rear has a military style 300 meter rear sight. It's adjustable for windage with an adjusting knob marked 1-5. The barrel is marked on the left side with the serial number and 8.15X46. The receiver has "AUSTRIAN / NAZI EAGLE CLUTCHING A SWASTIKA " On the left side is three commercial crown over B G U. The rear of the receiver has the Mauser Banner. On the left side wall is MAUSE-WERKE AG OBERENDORF AN. All visible serial numbers match The metal finish of the barrel and receiver are very good condition, with slight edge wear at the muzzle. The walnut stock is equipped with a brown leather sling in very good condition. The right side of the butt stock is stamped ST.V.T. The stock has several dings and light scrapes from handling over the years. Very nice appearing rifle., s/n 203xx |
