| 9 x 57mm; 75% blue, fair bore, good stock, 22.5'' barrel, Pre-WW2 manufacture, small ring Kar98 Mauser military style action. Crown/N, B, U and G proofs. Original blue finish, mounted in a plain walnut stock. Lightweight tapered barrel with ramped fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight with one standing and one folding leaf. The left side of the receiver has been drilled and tapped with three holes for a side mount, stock altered for the mount. Matching serial number bolt. Used, showing wear and handling. The stock has a 1/2 wooden extension added at the butt with the original buttplate fitted. The bore has strong rifling, being dark and frosted throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 16xx |
