| 9x57mm; 80% blue, fair bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, barrel date September 1926. Mauser 98 military action. Blue finish, mounted in a walnut stock with checkered round knob grip. Crown/N proofs. Ramped fixed front sight. Fixed rear sight with one folding leaf, which is broken with a small wire to hold in place. Military two stage trigger. Matching number bolt. The upper sling swivel and base is missing, solder build up where the base was installed. Mechanically fine. The bore shows wear to the rifling and darkness in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 29 |
