| 9 x 57mm; 75% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 21'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany circa 1920s. Mauser Gew98 military action with tapered lightweight barrel. Original blue finish, walnut stock with checkered round knob grip and cheekrest. Ramped fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight with one standing and one folding leaf. Receiver ring has been drilled and tapped, a steel dovetailed scope base installed. Double set triggers. The bolt handle has been modified for scope clearance. Used, showing wear and handling. Stock has two 1 inch cracks behind the receiver tang. The bore has strong rifling, dark with corrosion in the grooves. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 1703-2xx |
