| 9x19mm; 80% blue, 10% straw, good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blued finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. Matching serial numbers except the magazine. Grips are matching. Armourer wartime ordnance replaced barrel stamped on the bottom "42". Proper variation blued sheet steel magazine with aluminum base which is numbered 7983r with a stick eagle/63 proof and extra magazine +. The center toggle is stamped with the Mauser code "S/42" and the date 1937 is stamped over the chamber. The right side of the receiver is stamped with two droop eagle/63 proofs and a droop eagle military test proof. Metal finish shows thinning with edge and high point. Browning finish on the grip frame. Grips have worn points on the checkering and the right panel has capturing GI's name carved "A. Stark". Mechanically fine., s/n 76xxs, Catalog Number M-127 |
