THE ORIGINAL RUST BLUING SHOWS LIGHT HIGH EDGE WEAR. THE STRAW SMALL PARTS RETAIN APPROX 97% OF THEIR VIVID COLORS. THE BRIGHT BORE HAS MODERATELY WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING. THE CHECKERED WOOD GRIPS ARE VERY GOOD WITH THE LEFT PANEL INTERIOR SHOWING AN INSCRIBED NUMBER (8456) ADDED. 1937 WAS THE YEAR MAUSER TRANSITIONED FROM RUST BLUING TO THE LESS EXPENSIVE SALT BLUING, s/n 20xxr, Catalog Number M-145 |
