| 8mm Mauser; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Early commercial Mauser Oberndorf sporter, marked on top of the receiver ring "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A-N/1903". Commercial Crown/B, U and G proofing. Numbered parts are matching. Possible old refinish of high quality. Mounted in a walnut stock with checkered round knob grip. Old White-Line vented recoil pad fitted to the butt. Hand carved oak leaf decoration on right side of butt. Oval silver inlay plate on left side of butt, unmarked. Tapered lightweight barrel with replacement front sight ramp with beaded blade. Dovetailed rear sight with one standing and one folding leaf. Spoon handle bolt with all matching serial numbers. Double set triggers. Used, mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 57xx |
