| 30-06 Cal; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Custom sporter built on a Gew98 receiver with German Imperial proofing. Barrel is stamped on top of the chamber with a knightshead mark, the caliber 30/06 and a date 6-67. Fixed front sight with hood. Williams rear sight base missing the leaf. Receiver drilled and tapped with a one piece aluminum scope base installed. Tasco high mount rings with an American Eagle 3-9x32 scope mounted. The scope has a crosshair reticle with very good optics and includes lens covers. The bolt handle has been modified for scope clearance and a low scope shroud safety installed. Metal has been refinished, mounted in a press checkered walnut stock with pistol grip and cheekrest. Recoil pad fitted to stock. Leather sling attached. Internal box magazine with no floorplate, modified original trigger guard. Bolt and eextractor have been jeweled. Mechanically fine. FFL, s/n 64xx |
