THE BLUING IS MOSTLY GONE WITH REMNANTS REMAINING ON THE REAR RECEIVER AND BAYONET LUG. THE BORE IS SEMI BRIGHT WITH WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING ALONG WITH OXIDATION IN THE GROOVES. THE WALNUT STOCK IS NUMBERED TO THE RIFLE BUT DEVOID OF ANY WAFFENNAPMTS OR PROOFS AND IS PROBABLY AN ARMOURED REPLACEMENT. THE TOE HAS A LARGE REPAIR DONE., s/n 40xxb |
