| 9mm Luger; 97% blue, 90% straw, excellent bore, very good grips, 4'' barrel, Commerical assembly without any proofing. Original blue finish, strawed small parts and checkered walnut grips. The numbered parts are matching. The top of the toggle is stamped with a 7-line Mauser banner and the top of the chamber is stamped with the two digit date code 42. The barrel is not numbered or proofed, stamped only with the S/42 ordnance replacement part mark. Un-numbered e/655 proofed aluminum bottom blue sheet steel variation magazine. The left side frame is stamped P.08. Other un-numbered parts include the hold open, extractor and firing pin. The grip are not numbered, stamped with the S/42 ordnance replacement part mark. The metal finish shows minor sharp edge wear and very light high point holstering wear. The grips show minor handling wear with sharp checkering. Mechanically fine with a bright sharp bore. This pistol is original as assembled after the war, unmessed with. C&R/FFL, s/n 92xxw, Catalog Number B-30 |
