The receiver still has faint case color showing.This is a rim fire. On the left side of the receiver is "MARLIN FIRE ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CT. U.S.A. / over patent info. The lever has mild patina. The walnut butt stock is cracked at the wrist in two places, and is loose. The finish of the wood, has several handling marks and scuffs. The rifle style butt plate has mild patina., s/n 211xx |
