| An extremely rare holster as issued to the Turkish Security Police for their P08 Luger pistols. Original brown leather, made after the German Police pattern holsters of the WW2 era. No makers markings, it is believed that these were made by Albrecht Kind. The front of the flap is stamped with the Turkiye Cumhuriyeti mark T over C (Turkish Republic). Below the steel stud is stamped Emniyet Jsleri Umum Mudurlugu (Directorate of Public Security). Below the strap loop is a serial or gun number 658. This holster was part of the Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess collection and is featured in the book "The Brochardt & Luger Automatic Pistols" by Joachim Gortz and Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess on page 1219. Condition: Excellent overall. Shows some high edge wear and light scuffing. The original stitching is intact and tight., |
