| 10GA; 80% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 30'' barrel, Sideplate model, manufactured from 1885-1919. This Lefever C grade comes with the original sales receipt from Lefever Arms Co. dated July 20 1888. Blue finished Damascus barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 7/8-inch chambers. Marked on both side plates "LEFEVER ARMS CO." with the grade and serial number stamped on the watertable. Features a boxlock action, extractors, double triggers, side mounted cocking indicators, plunger release forearm and a full grip stock fitted with the original grip cap and buttplate. 13.5 inch LOP. The barrels retain generous finish with some surface spotting overall. The frame shows 60% case color. The wood is dark, with minor dings. Mechanically fine with tight lockup. Very hard to find, original Lefever shotgun., s/n 98xx |
