| 303 British; fair bore, fair stock, 25.25'' barrel, ROF manufacture, dated 1941. Gray metal. Walnut forend, beechwood Normal length buttstock. No legible serial number on forend. Non-matching bolt. No import marks found. Wood shows heavy wear and handling. Buttstock has cracks around the buttsocket. Patch repair on the heel. All British parts except the lower band which is Savage square S marked. Milled adjustable rear sight. #3 bolt head. Bore shows wear and corrosion throughout. Muzzle=.307., s/n 201xx |
