| Similar to Fonda Carcano 91/38 Calvary scabbard. Well made heavy leather construction, unmarked, Measures 22 inches long. This scabbard appears to have been formed and made for a specific gun, but whether for a rifle or shotgun we do not know. The flap has a hole with sewn on cover which appears to be to cover a cocking handle, and the back upper edge of the scabbard is notched to clear a protruding magazine. I tried an M1 carbine, a slide action riot gun and a 20 inch barreled Auto-5 Browning semi-automatic shotgun, all of which would fit but not perfectly. Overall very good condition, showing some scuffing and edge wear., |
