| .22 SHORT; 50% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 24.75'' barrel, NUMBERS MATCHING, SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION MANUFACTURED IN FRANCE. THIS IS A MINIATURE MODEL OF THE M1886 LEBEL SERVICE RIFLE. THESE WERE USED PRIMARILY BY MILITARY SCHOOLS AND CADET CORPS. FINISH ON RECEIVER IS BARE METAL WITH LIGHT PATINA. "AF" IS STAMPED ON THE TOP OF THE RECEIVER. FINISH ON BARREL AND BANDS SHOWS LIGHT FADING AND SPECKLING. BORE SHOWS OXIDATION AND GOOD RIFLING. STOCK AND FOREARM SHOWS LIGHT HANDLING WEAR. CARTOUCHE ON RIGHT SIDE OF THE STOCK.., s/n 297xx |
