| 8x60mm; 85% blue, excellent bore, very good+ stock, 26'' barrel, This is a matching numbered antique rifle that became the fore runner to the French LEBEL. Production lasted from 1886 until 1898. Left receiver is marked, Œ.W.F.G. STEYR/1886, Crown/L.I. and M1886. Metal finish is a combination of plumb patina and gun metal gray. Bolt is correctly bright and appears mechanically fine. Stock has typical small dings and compressions while original cartouches on stock are still visible. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Cleaning rod is present., s/n D6xx |
