| Description: |
| 32 ACP; poor bore, good grips, 5'' barrel, An example of a pistol hand made likely in the Kyhber Pass areas of Afghanistan circa 1940s. An imaginative mix of Browning, Gavage, Mauser characteristics. No metal finish, plain bone grip panels. Fixed front sight. Rear sight was a tangent style, missing the sight, graduations on the slanted top of the slide which are a jumble of different numbers. No postitive safety. The pistol is stamped all over with Belgian style proofs and FN style markings on the left side of slide, a Mauser style banner logo on the right side of slide, and several odd and end numbers. Has what appears to be the original magazine. Scattered areas of spotting and pitting on the metal. As with most of these hand built guns, it is not recommended for actual use due to questionable quality of the steel. SOLD AS A CURIO only, NOT for use. C&R/FFL, s/n 5345xx |
