| 8mm Mauser; 60% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Blue finish with some touch up. Mounted in a walnut Czech VZ24 rifle stock and handguard, lower and upper bands. Force matching serial numbers on bolt, trigger guard, floorplate, bolt release, and rear sight leaf. Top of receiver is stamped with the Muaser proof eagle/135 over "byf" and with the date code "42". The left side of the receiver ring and barrel have the eagle/swaz military acceptance marks. Front sight hood attached. Includes a 12 inch cleaning rod. No import marks found. The wood has been sanded, there is a 2 inch crack on top of the handguard at the upper band and the stock has a 1 inch tight crack behind the receiver tang. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a fairly tight muzzle, with pitting throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 49xxt |
