| 8mm Mauser; 95% blue, good bore, excellent stock, 23.5'' barrel, Mauser Werke Borsigwald manufacture. Blue finish, mounted in a walnut stock and laminated handguard. Eagle/26 proof on top of the receiver, over the code "ar" and date 43. The numbered parts are all matching. Un-numbered bolt safety and lower band. The lower band is stamped S/42K and with a P/74 proof. The handguard and stock are not numbered. The bayonet mount is matching to the rifle, the buttplate is stamped with and eagle/214 proof. The bottom of the stock butt is stamped with a "K" over a droop eagle/214 proof. The recoil lug is stamped with an eagle/77 proof. No markings on the right side of the butt. The stock does not appear to have been sanded. Front sight hood and cleaning rod present. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling and a tight muzzle, showing some light pitting throughout. We imported this rifle from Switzerland and it bears our import mark on the left side of the receiver. C&R/FFL, s/n 58xxC |
