| 8mm Mauser; 98% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured by J.P. Sauer, dated 1942. Blued finish, laminated stock and handguard. Numbered parts are matching, the stock and handguard numbered inside the barrel channel. The top of the receiver ring is stamped with an eagle/swaz proof over the code in script "ce", and the date code "42". The right side of the receiver ring is stamped with an eagle/280 proof. The right side of the rear sight base is stamped with two eagle/359 proofs. Eagle/swaztika military acceptance marks appear on the left side of the barrel and receiver ring. Small parts are not proofed. The right side of the stock butt is stamped with a Heer eagle/H. The bottom of the stock butt is marked with an illegible eagle/WaA proof. No import marks. Includes an original rubber muzzle cover. The stock has light handling marks overall. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 8xxs |
