| 8mm; 20% blue, poor bore, poor stock, 24'' barrel, WWII Karabiner 98k rifle manufactured by Mauser-Werke AG, Oberndorf a./N in 1942. The top of the receiver ring is marked with a Waffenamt over "byf 42", the left side wall is marked "Mod. 98" and the left rear of the barrel is marked with the Nazi firing proof and the serial number. The front sight is a blade and the rear are a tangent graduated to 2000 meters. The metal condition has heavy patina and spotting. It has a 3.5-inch crack at the rear of the trigger guard the stock has several handling marks and scuffs. It has a leather sling, s/n 78xx |
