| 7.7mm; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, Japanese Arisaka Type 99 Short Rifle, Kokura arsenal 24th series, 7.7mm Arisaka caliber, ground Mum. Matching numbers, however the safety knob is un-numbered but Kokura marked. Receiver, bolt, firing pin and front band matching. Bore is excellent and chrome lined. Bolt face is not chrome lined. Bluing in very good condition with some handling wear. Stock in very good condition showing scratches, dings and gouges overall along with an added coat of varnish (no sanding). Stock has the typical Kokura "chatter marks" at the pistol grip, stamped steel buttplate and rear band is the monopod type but was never monopd equipped. Cleaning rod missing. Blade front and tangent rear sight, front sight protectors in good condition, slightly bent., |
