| very good grips, Antique World War II Japanese samurai Naval Landing Forces Officer's sword the blade measures 25 3/4" from blade tip to notch in the blade spine (as measured properly with the tape pulled tight between the blade tip and the top of the habaki). The hamon is polished on. The blade is perfectly straight. And in excellent condition. The handle wrap is in very good condition. It has no patina. The wooden black painted scabbard has several nicks and scrapes to the finish. The gold finished fittings has some surface wear., |
