| 11mm; 5% blue, good bore, very good stock, 32.18'' barrel, This school marked rifle has non-matching numbers. It is a bolt action, single shot rifle that fired an 11mm black powder cartridge. Fixed blade front sight, folding leaf rear sight graduated 500-1500 meters. The Chrysanthemum has been ground off and replaced with the school mark. Finish has turned mostly white. Barrel s/n is preceded with ‘OO’ designating out of service. One piece stock has minor nicks, dings, compression dents as well as what appears to be a small crack behind the top screw. The cartouche is present. Steel buttplate is oversize. ANTIQUE., s/n 1292xx |
