| 29 inch bright plated blade with fullers high on each side. Guilded brass D guard with plastic grip with wire wrap. Ten petal cherry blossom decorations on each side and on top of the pommel. Complete with the original metall scabbard. 34 inch OAL. The blade is good, having a few tiny nicks along the edge and showing some insertion wear and light scratches. The handle has only traces of the guilding remaining. The wire wrap on the grip is beginning to loosen here and there. The scabbard appears to have been polished bright, over some minor scattered pitting. The scabbard has some dents on the lower end near the drag, which do nto interfere with blade insertion., |
