| 16 Ga/8x57JR; 80% blue, fair bore, good stock, 23.75'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated December 1936. Blue finish barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chambers with Modified chokes. Square post front sight blade, flip up rear sight. Double claw bases on top of barrel with a post war Hubertus 4X scope mounted. The scope has a pointer/crossbars reticle with excellent optics. Boxlock action with Greener style crossbolt and top mounted cocking indicators. Front set double triggers, extractor, Greener type side safety. Latch release forearm, round knob grip stock with cheekrest and a 14 inch Length of Pull, the original hard rubber buttplate present. Used, the frame has turned gray with some scattered light pitting. The shotgun bores have some minor pitting. The rifle bore is dark with pitting. Both barrels have a few minor external dings. Mechanically fine with good barrel lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 2772xx |
