| 12 Gauge; 99% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured circa 1936. Original blue finish barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in select grade checkered walnut. Matching serial numbers. 2 3/4 inch chambers with Full chokes. Boxlock action, automatic ejectors, double triggers, D&E forearm latch, semi-grip stock with a 14.25 inch LOP. Barrels proofed by Charles Fox. Both barrels marked with the yet unidentifed three lobed crown over D markings, rather faint on the left barrel. Mechanically fine and tight. This example is in excellent plus-near mint un-messed with condition, with the exception of the ebony forend tip which has a repaired crack. A very nice gun. C&R/FFL, s/n 4618xx |
