| Bayonet features an un-sharpened blade, steel pommel with working external release button, wooden grips and metal guard & muzzle ring. The top of the tang is stamped L 47448. (L. Franchi made). The steel blade has a ‘blood groove’ on each side of the blade. This was originally a 'folding' type fighting knife, converted for use as a fixed blade bayonet. Complimented with a steel scabbard retaining approx. 80% of it's finish with a few mild dings. |
