| Manufactured in 1946. Small ring Mauser "strengthened" action without thumb recess on the left side. Original blue finish, mounted in a checkered beechwood stock. Barrel sights have been removed, the receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting with Weaver two piece bases installed and 1 inch rings. The bolt handle has been expertly modified for scope clearance with a low scope safety installed, tape on knob has been removed. There is a tiny 1/8 inch crack in the stock behind the receiver tang. Used, mechanically fine, most finish loss is on the trigger guard/floorplate. C&R/FFL |
