| 12,7x44R; 60% blue, good bore, fair stock, 25.5'' barrel, Mfg.1876 The front sight is a fixed blade and the rear is an elevation adjustable unit. The finish on the barrel is dull, spotted and thinning. The receiver has the serial number on the left side. The right side has a Crown/S and the date 1876. The action works and it's a center fire. The receiver has some faint case color still showing. It also has spotting overall. The walnut stock has a cracked forearm, that looks to have been repaired. The buttstock has a couple of scrapes on each side. The butt plate is brass and has the serial number on the roll over, and is original to the rifle., s/n 17xx |
