| 30-06 Cal; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1961, the K model was a less expensive model of the HVA 1640 rifles with a lesser grade plain walnut stock having a shcnabel forend tip with no checkering and the action was not factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting or receiver sights. Original blue metal finish. Ramped fixed front and fixed rear sights. Aluminum triggerguard and hinged floorplate. Right side mounted tang safety. This rifle has had a side mount scope base installed with a 3/8 inch wide dovetail. The buttplate has been removed from the stock having tape and a foam pad simply nailed onto the end. The metal finish shows light wear and handling. The stock has scattered minor scuffs and scratches. Mechanically fine with a bright sharp bore. C&R/FFL, s/n 2490xxA |
