| 8mm Mauser; 75% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1951. FN commercial 98 Mauser action. Original blue finish, beechwood stock with checkered grip. Ramped fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight. Receiver has been drilled and tapped with Weaver #46 front and #45 rear scope bases installed. A low scope safety lever has been installed on the bolt. Used, showing wear and handling. The stock has a repaired large chip at the toe of the butt, the buttplate repaired as well. The top of the receiver ring and bridge have some discoloration from heat being applied around the scope bases. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 626xx |
