| 30-06 Cal; 80% blue, good bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1953. FN commercial 98 Mauser action. Original blue finish, beechwood stock with checkered grip. Ramped fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight. The receiver has been drilled and tapped on the side and on top, with Weaver type scope bases installed on top. A right side mounted tang safety has been installed,. A hard rubber comb has been epoxyed to the stock. Sling swivels have been removed. Bolt safety has been filed down a bit. Metal and wood show wear and handling, the stock has a tight crack behind the receiver tang and there is a chip at the toe of the butt and buttplate. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 1626xx |
