| 12 Gauge; 70% blue, very good bore, good stock, 29.5'' barrel, Exposed Hammer Sidelock, 2 1/2" chambers, each barrel has approx.45 points of restriction for an extra full choke as common for a paper hull and wad shotgun. 14 1/4" LOP. The gun opens easy yet has a tight cross bolt lock-up, both hammers hold, firing pins each rebound, extractor functions and the barrels ring like a church bell, yet are somewhat blue worn and a little pitted at the balance point. The original varnish is mostly worn off both the un-cracked forearm and the un-cracked buttstock, hand checkering is getting smooth, the hard rubber buttplate is small chipped at the toe. The receiver screw heads all look straight and true, showing no sign of someone ever opening this gun up with an impact wrench., s/n 1481xx |
