| 9.3 X 57mm; 75% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured in 1935. Small ring Mauser military style action. Original blue finish, walnut stock with checkered round knob grip. Ramped fixed front sight, rear sight and base removed. Receiver drilled and tapped with Weaver #46 front and #55 rear scope bases installed. The bolt handle modified for scope clearance. Another hole has been drilled and tapped on top of the barrel chamber with a plug screw installed. A right side mounted tang safety has been installed. The stock has been modified by cutting and raising the comb mounted on two brass rods, not adjustable. The stock is missing the buttplate and has been cut for mounting a recoil pad. Used, showing wear and handling. There is a 1/2 inch hairline crack behind the receiver tang. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing corrosion throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 112xx |
