| 24 Gauge; 80% blue, Very good bore, Very good stock, 30'' barrel, Mfg. 1871 The metal finish is thinning and turning plum. The front sight is a bead and the rear is a fixed V notch. The receiver has the serial number on the left side. The right has a CROWN /C and the date 1871 The buttplate has some mild patina and the numbers matching serial number. The forearm is in very good condition, but the finish is worn. The stock has a two inch crack at the bottom edge of the upper tang. The left side of the stock has a quarter size brass plate in the stock. The stock has a sling swivel as the barrel has also. The stock has several mild handling marks and dings The action works and it is a center fire., s/n 118xx |
