| 6.5 X 55mm; 90% blue, good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Special model manufactured in 1960. Original blue finish, mounted in a walnut stock with checkered forend and full gip, cheekrest and schnabel forend tip. Ramped front sight missing the blade which slides in from the front. Fixed rear sight. The receiver has angled dovetail scope mount bases installed. The left side of the receiver is drilled and tapped with three holes and two small locating holes for a side mount. The stock is not modified for the side mount. Jewelled bolt with a large plastic knob attached. Right side mounted tang safety. Aluminum triggerguard/floorplate. The stock has a vented recoil pad attached but not fitted to the stock butt and a wooden grip cap added. There are several hunting tacks decorating the back edges of the grip. The metal finish shows light wear and handling. The stock has small dings and scratches overall. Mechanically fine. The bore shows some wear to the rifling, the muzzle remains tight, with darkness in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 2466xxA |
